Welcome to Oman - a stunning contrast of deserts, mountains, beaches with all the comforts of a bustling, modern metropolis. The country's climate is predominantly arid and varies slightly from one region to another. In the coastal areas, the weather is hot and humid during the summer months, while it is dry elsewhere in the interior. Milder weather dominates the mountains and Dhofar region all the year round. Winter temperatures can be as low as 15°Celsius and summer temperatures can be as high as 48° Celsius in Muscat and as high as 54° in the desert.
Dhofar, located in the southern region of the country however, enjoys a regular monsoon between June and October, every year.
The best time of the year to visit Oman is between October and April, when the weather is pleasantly warm in the day and cool in the evening. Temperature averages at 25-35 degrees centigrade during the day and dips to 17-19 degrees centigrade at night.
THEKKEPURAM OMANI CENSUS
Though the number of thekkes in oman are considerably less, there has been an increase in the thekke crowd in the past years. The following will illustrate the number of bachelors and families residing in oman.
Bachelors - 22
Families - 23
The above details may vary a little as there are still a few of them in Buraimi and Salalah where we are yet to get the details from them. However most of the photos from the above figure are available in our gallery, though a few have refused to post their photographs on the site.

Thekkepuramites are very few in number when compared to other GCC countries. The entire oman will have a maximum of 30 to 40 thekkepuramites, considering the fact that oman is a vast country.
